The FanDuel Par-A-Dice Sportsbook is now open for business in Illinois, and time is running out for you to sign up for the site online without having to show up in person.
Users have until Sept. 19 to be able to sign up via an online registration. That’s likely to end when an in-person registration requirement could go back into effect. Will Gov. J. B. Pritzker extend it? Don’t risk it.
The FanDuel Par-A-Dice Sportsbook, the third online sports book in Illinois, is a partnership with the brick-and-mortar location in East Peoria. The name is a form of a compromise, as the Illinois law says the master license brand names must be used.
But make no mistake, you’ll have a FanDuel experience.
Bonus deal can’t be beaten
FanDuel is one of the favorites in the nation when it comes to online sports betting, and Illinois residents will have access to it just in time for the NFL season, the peak of the NBA playoffs and some college football games.
And one of the big reasons? It offers a $1,000 risk-free first bet for first-time users.
If your bet loses, FanDuel will refund the lost funds in the form of a free bet, giving new users a chance to experience the app and get used to the features. And if you win, you keep the money.
The offer is only available on the first bet you make, however, so make it count to make the most of the deal.
Other enticing offers
The site offers other cool features such as player prop outcomes, daily odds boosts on single games and parlays. And don’t miss the fun promotions, as well, such as when FanDuel offered the Los Angeles Clippers as 99-point underdogs in their NBA playoff game.
In addition, the ‘Spread the Love’ promotion allows a community of sportsbook users to help each other out and turn the spread of a game in their favor.
An earlier iteration of the offer in Colorado moved the spread one point in the favor of the Denver Nuggets for every time 100 FanDuel bettors placed a wager on them. Another offer in July moved the spread one point in the Lakers’ favor for every 2,500 who bet on Los Angeles.
If enough people join in, you can’t lose. Keep in mind, there is a max bet for these offers.
There are plenty of reasons to give FanDuel Par-A-Dice Sportsbook a try if you are an Illinois resident, but sign up soon if you want to avoid the drive to East Peoria.
